The NLC developed from a fundamental understanding that learning is complex, learners are diverse, and ecosystems are intricate. Through the NLC we are coordinating between the various stakeholders who are addressing these challenges and developing solutions to organize the answers into a simple, effective practice with free-to-use tools. As collaborators in the Navigated Learning Collaborative, we strive to make access to free, quality learning tools a reality for all learners, everywhere.
The Navigated Learning Collaborative is Unique
Each NLC collaborator is unique and comes to the NLC with their own goals, philosophies, and learner needs. The NLC is designed so that all collaborators can leverage Navigator in ways that meet their specific needs. Through Gooru’s Navigator tools, you can gain insight into their districts and classrooms, contribute content, develop or share competency models, provide feedback from their implementation, explore and validate usage metrics, or leverage anonymized data to enhance the underlying science and advance Navigator for all users.
The Navigated Learning Collaborative is Diverse
The NLC enables and promotes innovation and creativity through the diversity of our collaborators. Educators, students, content providers, administrators, funders, corporations, and partners from across industries and disciplines contribute to Navigator applications and use them with their learners.
