How we are working together
Green Shoots is supporting Maths teaching & learning through Data-Informed Decisions. They are an education organisation that is committed to providing quality education to all learners, both in school and after-school environments. They believe that the innovative, sustainable, and tech-enabled solutions we employ uplift and empower, not only our schools, our teachers, and our learners; but also their communities. They are piloting a South African Curriculum aligned Gooru Navigator course for Senior Phase Maths.
What they do
Green Shoots has harnessed an ability to collect learner data using technology and has utilized it to craft a people-focused solution that is significantly improving Maths teaching & learning in schools of all contexts.
To impact the maximum number of learners at a sustainable level, a solution needed to be designed that would not simply address problems within the classroom but also those of the wider education system
Credible, real-time, ongoing feedback from the classroom and learner analytics are vital for all the education system stakeholders. Only then can they address in the most effective way the major learning barriers and enhance the delivery of the Maths curriculum.
